Dear Ms. Yen,

Thank you for your inspirational and helpful classes. They have greatly enhanced my expression of music. For my homework submission, I have chosen to play "Petit Prince et la Rose" as it is a beautiful piece composed by you. In this video, I focused on pre-hearing and connecting with the music in my heart, as you have repeatedly emphasized. I also concentrated on the following techniques:

- Whole arm action
- Wrist navigation
- Wrist rotation
- Forearm rotation
- Firm fingers

However, I realize that I still need to improve on dynamics, articulation, and tempo control, especially with the triplets. My legato passages were not as smooth as I would have liked, and I made a mistake during the performance. Despite these challenges, I chose this piece because it is beautifully composed and more approachable compared to other pieces like "Scent in Spring," which is my favorite, but I do not think I am ready to film it yet. :)
